How will I get my files & what kind are they?
Regardless of the path you choose, at the end of every session you will get a copy of the RAW 4k recording files for every camera angle as well as an audio multi-track. If you choose any of our turn-key packages you will also receive and edited copy of your video as well as any other social media vertical clips associated with the package of your choice.
These files will usually be:
- 🎥 Video: 4K ProRes 422 LT or HQ (let us know your preference).
- 🎙 Audio: Wav 48 kHz at 24-bit resolution.
If you want instant access to your files immediately, make sure to bring a hard drive so we can transfer everything to it in under 45 minutes. Having an available 2TB drive is always a great choice for data transfer.
If you'd rather receive a digital copy, we can send you a WeTransfer packet within 48 hours of your recording. Once you receive it, make sure to save your files as we only keep them in our server for 1 week.
Why the 2 hour minimum if the studio is perfectly set?
Since most content pieces or podcast episodes exceed an hour, we want to provide ample time for our clients to conclude their assets without feeling rushed. We also know from experience that there's always additional promotional content to be recorded beyond the such as reels, drops, promo teasers, behind-the-scenes footage and having a 2 hour time-frame should be sufficient. If you usually make long pieces of content and you'd like to go beyond the 2 hour mark, let us know ahead of time so we can accommodate a longer period of time before your session. We will be unable to extend your session if there's another client coming in with their session.
Can I extend my booking if I see I need more time?
If our schedule allows it and there are no conflicting bookings from other clients you can extend your session. Additional time would be invoices charged that same day through our digital payment system.
Can I cancel my booking in case of an emergency?
To cancel a booking, please email dreamscape@noisematch.com with "Session Cancellation" followed by your name in the subject line. All cancellations must be made at least 72 hours before your booking to qualify for a full refund or studio credit.
This allows us to re-accommodate the schedule for our team-members, who are responsible for making your content happen.
- Cancellations made 72 hours in advance are eligible for a full refund, minus a 3% transaction fee, or studio credit for future use.
- Cancellations made 48 hours in advance are eligible for a 50% refund, minus a 3% transaction fee, or 50% store credit for rescheduling.
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance are not eligible for refunds or studio credit.
